EnField to Fork: A Harvest Celebration at Forty Hall Farm

Join The Food Gatherer for a special farm-to-table supper, including a guided walking and tasting tour of the market garden and vineyard of London’s only certified organic farm, Forty Hall Farm.

The event is a harvest celebration to mark Urban Food Fortnight and is a collaboration with our friends at the Enfield Veg Co. & Forty Hall Vineyard on Capel Manor College’s Forty Hall Farm.

Walk, talk, eat and drink!

Guests will gather in Forty Hall Community Orchard for a shrub cocktail then take a walking tour of the farm’s market garden and vineyard. Along the way there’ll be seasonal appetisers from Chef Ben Murphy of EN Food, and wine tasting from Forty Hall Vineyard where the growers and volunteers will be there to chat about the produce and their work in the fields.

Then, it’s back to the Black Barn to gather around the farm table together for a supper prepared by local cooks and chefs, including food writer, historian and cook Angela Clutton, made almost entirely from farm produce with guest contributions from local food heroes like Holtwhites Bakery. No air miles here!

If escape to the Enfield countryside with good food and drink wasn’t enough, musician and songwriter Ravi Rajani will also be playing live during the evening and The Food Gatherer’s Rick Yard Bar will be serving local brews and FHV wine until 10pm.

Tickets £55 - Includes welcome cocktail, wine tasting, farm tour and supper, plus live music (vegan, vegetarian options available).
