Forty Hall Farm will be opening its gate on Sunday November 11th for our monthly community farmers market.
Come ready to fill your bag with a bounty of local produce, including seasonal veg and rare breed beef, lamb and pork direct from Forty Hall Farm and grab your catch of the day from a fantastic selection from The Fresh Fish Shop. Holtwhites Bakery will be serving your daily bread (and the first mince pies of the year) and Prestige Patisserie are back with their scrumptious cakes.
If the weather is unkind don’t worry, we’ve got it covered! In the Open Barn there’ll be a delicious selection of street food plenty of produce and inside the Black Barn, Forty Hall Vineyard will be selling their new 2016 Vintage London Brut (perfect for Christmas gifts) . Our barista Cheryl (who’s offering free coffee for life to the person who suggests a great new name for her business here!) will be serving top notch coffee and if you need something stronger, New River Brewery and Old Bakery Gin will be on hand with their local craft brews.
We will also be welcoming Timothy Charge Honey with honey from hives on the Tottenham Marshes, plus newby ‘start up’ producers Shehot with Trinidadian hot pepper sauce and Luso Roots with Portuguese treats including Pasteis de Nata and custard donuts (yum).
Bring your neighbours, meet your friends and take some time out to sit, relax and enjoy great local food, while children can explore and meet the Farm’s animals. Dogs are welcome, on leads.
Please note there will be a two minute silence at 11am for Armistice Day
